Tutti Arts

We acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the place now called South Australia, and all First Peoples living and working on this land. We celebrate the history and contemporary creativity of the world’s oldest living culture and pay respect to Elders – past and present. We acknowledge Kaurna, Peramangk and Ngadjuri peoples on whose lands our events and activities are imagined, planned and held. This always was, and always will be, Aboriginal land.

The Weight of Wings presents a collection of twenty exquisitely detailed, hyper-realistic bird paintings by Tutti artist, Nathan Smith. Nathan’s practice is grounded in close observation, technical precision, and a profound fascination with the natural world.

Created on Kaurna Country, these works explore birds not only as subjects of beauty, but as symbols of resilience, movement, and wonder. We’d love to welcome you to the Joy of Flora Cafe in West Croydon to share in Nathan’s success.
