Tutti Arts

NDIS

Tutti Arts is a registered NDIS provider which means you can use NDIS funding for Tutti programs whether your plan is agency-managed, plan-managed or self-managed.

What is the NDIS?

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is the way of providing financial support to Australians with a permanent and significant disability. People who are eligible will develop an individual NDIS Plan which will cover the costs of the reasonable and necessary support products and services that they need to live their day-to-day life.

How do Tutti programs fit within the NDIS?

Tutti Arts programs can help you achieve your personal goals, especially goals like improving social skills, and learning new skills to develop your arts practice. Tutti programs usually fit within the Increased Social & Community Participation category of NDIS Capacity Building funding or the Group Activities in a Centre category of NDIS Core funding. We are not registered under Therapy services.

Tutti programs are usually provided as a group activity, but one-on-one skills development is available by negotiation.

What is the process to join Tutti using NDIS funds?

Tutti can provide a quote for you to take to your NDIS planning or review meeting if you would like funding for a Tutti program to be included in your plan. Please contact us to request a quote – contact details are at the end of this web page.

If you have NDIS funding and you want to use it to participate in a Tutti Arts program, once a place is available, Tutti will need to make a ‘Service Agreement’ with you.

Where can I find more information?

There is lots of information on the official NDIS website: www.ndis.gov.au

Different parts of South Australia also have organisations which act as Local Area Coordinators for the NDIS and they may be able to help you.
