Tutti Arts

We acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the place now called South Australia, and all First Peoples living and working on this land. We celebrate the history and contemporary creativity of the world’s oldest living culture and pay respect to Elders – past and present. We acknowledge Kaurna, Peramangk and Ngadjuri peoples on whose lands our events and activities are imagined, planned and held. This always was, and always will be, Aboriginal land.

Headshot of Jacko (Jack) Hooper

Jacko Hooper is an artist, dancer, designer, and member of the Hip Hop crew V.O.L.S. Jacko’s visual arts practice is centred around painting and drawing, both traditional and digital. His work covers a broad range subjects, focusing on ‘Things that are special to me’, including people, animals, landscapes, places and objects, food and drink, film and TV characters, alternate Australian flag designs, themed cake designs, cartoons, and the Australian Football Leagues. Jacko will also often draw inspiration from the people who he shares the studio space with, at times riffing-off-of the artworks that they make, along with making reference to the conversations he overhears and is engaged in. Jacko has also developed a range of wearable and useable items that incorporate his art, and which he sells through his own business, Artmazing Jacky. When asked what his work is about, why he makes art, and what is most important to him, Jacko’s response has always been the same: ‘Community’.
