Banjobe (Banjo) Hunt

Banjo Hunt is a visual artist. His work is inspired by his Thai heritage and his love of animals. It reflects his strong connection to the South Australian landscape. He creates paintings, drawings, prints, and mixed‑media art. Banjo’s style is bright, expressive, and full of detail. He mixes imagination with real life by using bold colours and fine linework to celebrate nature.

Banjo’s art has been shown in many exhibitions. He has been featured in solo and group exhibitions both locally and internationally. His art is held in many private collections.

Banjo was born in Thailand and adopted into a multicultural family. He moved to South Australia in the early 1990s. He grew up on his family’s animal rescue property. This helped him develop a lifelong love of animals and the natural world. He joined Tutti in 2009 and has grown as a dedicated studio artist for more than 15 years.

His first solo exhibition, From Bangkok to Brighton, was a major success and received a lot of public and media attention. He has contributed to many important Tutti projects, including Wonder Rooms, Think Big, Wild Things, Explorasi Titik (Indonesia), Final Frontier, and several public murals. He has also given artist talks and live digital drawing demonstrations. Most recently, Banjo created artwork for the Department for Transport, Energy and Infrastructure’s Signal Hut at Brighton Railway Station.
