Living My Life
Disability-led Collective Sit Down Shutup and Watch were asked by the South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute (SAHMRI), Adelaide University, Flinders University, Be Well Co, The Office of the Public Advocate, and worked with Artists from Tutti’s Acting and Technically Brilliant programs to develop a set of resources to help explain wellbeing concepts.
The videos they created help to build broader representation in wellbeing AND promote the professional development of learning-disabled and neurodivergent artists. Check them out below.

Adelaide University, SAHMRI Project lead, Jan McConchie, said,
“SAHMRI and Adelaide University are excited to partner with Tutti Arts to expand on the resources produced by Be Well Co as part of the Federal Government ILC project Living my Life. These resources were built for the Wellbeing and Resilience training program developed by Be Well Co and are designed to work as stand alone assets. Tutti Arts is itself an exemplar when it comes to knowledge of wellbeing and resilience.”
Hear from our artists what it meant to be involved in this project

Isi says A Meaningful Kit Bag is her favourite tool from the Living Well series to help her and others feel grounded,
‘I have shown the Kit Bag to my loved ones… it works!’
When you are having a bad day, pick something from your Kit Bag to remind yourself something positive.

Trish Ferguson

Trish says she loved working on the project because,
‘I love helping people. I love to help people when they are stressed, I like to be able to calm my friends down – or even strangers! To help them feel happy and motivated.”
VIA Character Cards
The fabulous crew at Technically Brilliant have been creating a set of cards that help people describe their emotions through funky animated characters.
The character strengths represented by the artists draws on the work of the VIA Institute on Character.
