Loud & Proud was a bold celebration of disability pride, musical excellence and inclusion, presented by the Tutti Choir as part of Adelaide Fringe 2026.

Our Story

Loud and Proud united more than 50 disabled and non-disabled singers in an uplifting showcase of talent, creativity and community. This is their story.

The 60-minute production featured an original repertoire celebrating disabled and neurodivergent artists whose work has shaped music and culture, highlighting the creativity, influence and achievements of disabled musicians.

Guest Artist, Nat Luna joined the Tutti Choir on stage, highlighting the depth of talent within South Australia’s disability arts community and embodied the spirit of collaboration and artistic excellence in a defining moment.

Access and Inclusion

Accessibility was embedded throughout the experience, with Auslan interpretation, relaxed- performance settings, visual stories, access videos, advance access information, early-entry options and a sensory-friendly open-air venue ensuring broad participation and a welcoming environment for all.

Tutti Arts developed access resources for audiences including a Video access reel – captioned – to support audiences with venue access information and a printed Visual Story for Loud and Proud in easy read format.

Stage Access

Installation of a specialised backstage access ramp provided safe and equitable stage access for performers using mobility aids, as well as additional staging safety infrastructure, including risers and balustrades, to ensure performers could participate safely and confidently throughout the production.

Tutti Arts would like to acknowledge the support of Create SA. Funding received through the Create SA Richard Llewellyn Deaf and Disability Arts (RLDDA) Access Grant supported the implementation of essential access and safety measures that were vital to the presentation of the work. Thank you!
