Tutti Arts

We acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the place now called South Australia, and all First Peoples living and working on this land. We celebrate the history and contemporary creativity of the world’s oldest living culture and pay respect to Elders – past and present. We acknowledge Kaurna, Peramangk and Ngadjuri peoples on whose lands our events and activities are imagined, planned and held. This always was, and always will be, Aboriginal land.

We’re thrilled to announce that Tutti artist, KJ, has been awarded the Stratford Scholarship 2025!

As part of the scholarship KJ is developing a series of art workshops, in collaboration with Tabitha Lean. The workshops share survival strategies, communal space and visual storytelling resources for people who have experienced coerced medical intervention.

Coerced medical intervention includes medical incarceration in hospitals and being subject to government issued Community Treatment Orders, whereby a medical authority removes a person’s right to consent to their own medical care.

KJ’s work uses illustration and storytelling to share personal and community creative excellence.

The Statford Scholarship was created by Mind Australia to honour the late  Anthony Stratford’s immense contribution to the lived experience movement
