Theatre Troupe at Hove:

Led by specialist arts educators, the workshops are held once per week and follow the public school term calendar.  Groups are small so that everyone feels confident and able to contribute.  The focus of each group is tailored to the participants and the skill set of the tutors. While our focus is on fun, friendship and harnessing creativity, research has shown that programs like Tutti Kids and Youth can assist young people in their:

  • Cognitive development: listening, concentration, collaboration, abstract and imaginative thinking
  • Psycho-social development: self-esteem, confidence, sense of belonging and friendship development
  • Physical development: strength, balance, coordination and fine motor skills
  • Educational growth: numeracy, speech, vocabulary, critical analysis and problem solving
